Numbers for Non-Profits at The Falmouth Road Race
There were miles of smiles at this year’s running of The Falmouth Road Race!
Here at SoCo Living, we love our community and love giving back to others no matter the occasion! We were thrilled to hear that our friends at The S.E.A.L. Foundation and The Richard A. Perry Memorial Foundation ran in this year’s 49th Annual Falmouth Road Race on Sunday, August 15.
The Falmouth Road Race is an annual road race on Cape Cod beginning in Woods Hole and ending in Falmouth Heights. The race has become one of the premier running events of the summer season, drawing thousands of elite and recreational runners through the iconic 7-mile seaside course. The FRR is committed to promoting health and fitness through community programs and philanthropic giving.
This year’s running of the race was a memorable one; being one of the first official road races to return in person since the pandemic restrictions.
“The weather was perfect; the company was even better. So happy to have our friends at The Richard A. Perry Memorial Foundation join us this year. Together we are helping kids dream big. Looking forward to partnering again in 2022!” said Kerry Peroni, President and Founder of The S.E.A.L. Foundation
The S.E.A.L. Foundation and The Richard A. Perry Memorial Foundation came together and raised just over $19,000. Proceeds of the funds raised will help fund education, health & social enrichment initiatives for all children who shall receive support and services they need to dream big and succeed!
It was great seeing the runners take on the in-person course and finishing the race virtually with the At-Home Edition (between August 7th and August 14th). “We couldn’t have asked for a better day on Cape Cod spending it with even greater company! Thank you to all who supported our cause and contributed to the race this year!” -Cheryl Moura, President and Founder of The Richard A. Perry Memorial Foundation
