Be a Hunger Hero this Thanksgiving
Each year, the United Way of Greater New Bedford hosts their Hunger Heroes Project just in time for Thanksgiving. 2021 marks the 29th year in a row for the Hunger Heroes Project and their goal is to raise enough food to create 1,000 Thanksgiving Day baskets. Our friends at ProGroup and The Richard A. Perry Memorial Foundation are hoping to collect enough food at their office to fill their box truck to bring to the Hunger Heroes Food Drop at Buttonwood Park on Saturday, November 13th from 10am – 12pm. They will be collecting the following items inside their office until Thursday, 11/12 at 1193 Ashley Boulevard, Rear Building, New Bedford, MA, Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm. Just walk right in and drop off your items at the box on the front counter!
